As far as I know hes only been a villian once, but he made a big impression. Hes a well intentioned extremist who is trying to save the world by killing as many heroes as possible (starting with Supes), so they wont hold back the end of the world any longer. His logic is that the more often destruction is stopped the more it builds up, so if a civilisation is destroyed now it will be a less extreme act of destruction than it would be in fifty years time.

He uses literary symbolism as a weapon, has most of the same powers as Aquaman (since Arion is also an Atlantian) and can turn into freakin Dagon as a combat mode. How can I not love this guy.
