Under The Red Hood Animated Movie
Heres the place to share your thoughts on the Under The Red Hood movie.I myself saw this movie and thought it was a fantastic movie,a great transition from the comic book to the small screen.I nice change from the comic was the use of
In fact this explanation actually fits better for me than the comic book explanation which gave
The voice acting was superb in my opinion. At first I was hesitant at the idea of John Dimaggio,of Futurama fame, voicing the Joker, but from the beginning of this feature my 'fears' were instantly settled.Dimaggio works great as the Joker and I can't wait for him to lend his voice acting talents to the Clown Prince of Crime again.
Neil Patrick Harris played a great Nightwing, and I can only hope that he decides to persue the use of this character in future projects.
Bruce Greenwood was the voice of Bruce Wayne/Batman this time around, and for me it was hard to tell the difference between him and the great Kevin Conroy.Greenwood managed to capture dark, tormented soul that is Batman, but also managed to show Bruce Waynes concern and emotinal weakness at the return of The Red Hood
Jensen Ackles also joins the Batman animated family for the first time as The Red Hood himself.I can't say too much, for fear of spoiling the movie for those of you who still haven't seen it,but rest assured that Jensen gives a superb performance.
So heres your chance!Sound off on what you think like about UTRH and what you don't like!

Great review, Andy! I haven't actually seen this movie, but plan to very soon.

Its a fantastic rendition of a great comic book!
I'd recommend the comic series AND the movie, both are fantastic and you'd be suprised by how true they stay to the series

only parts of this movie I didn't like were the scenes involving Black mask and the part where the movie ended and I was forced to have to actually get up out of my chair, and take it out of the Dvd player.
Re: Under The Red Hood Animated Movie
Hahaha
The fact that it HAD to end was probably the lowest part of the film for me!

Okay, basically I liked everything apart from the following:
1. Black Mask yelling at everyone all the time. (Minus one scene where it's funny)
2. General scenes with Black Mask.
3. The Joker not having as much screentime as I would have hoped.
4. The Riddler not having ANY screentime, minus being defeated by Jason Todd very quickly.
That's all. Apart from that the film was excellent, IMO, and recommended if you haven't seen it already!v (Eg, Elliot)

I really liked the film, and I didn't really care about Black Mask shouting at everyone. I loved Joker's voice, but I am a big fan of Futurama. The only thing I didn't like was the ending, I don't mean that I was sad that it ended, I mean it didn't have a great ending, IMO.

Yeah, the ending was a little off. I want closure, dammit!Croc wrote:I really liked the film, and I didn't really care about Black Mask shouting at everyone. I guess we all know what happens to Jason, though.
